Understanding the Completion sidebar

The Completion sidebar in KatanaPIM helps streamlining the product data management process by providing a clear and organized visual representation of the workflow. It significantly enhances efficiency and productivity by allowing users to easily track and manage the progress of product information completion.

Navigating the Completion sidebar

  • You can find the Completion sidebar on the right of a product edit page. This sidebar visually represents each step in the workflow.
  • The top bar in the sidebar shows workflow steps with color codes: blue for incomplete tasks, gray for not started, and green for completed.
  • Click on the 'workflow' button for an overview of the workflow steps.

Completing assigned tasks

  • Under the 'my task' button, find the fields that need your input.
  • If the product already has a name, SKU, and a main image, your task may be to add a short description (you can easily identify the fields that have already been completed, as they are marked with a strikethrough).
  • Input the required information and click 'save'. This action will mark your task as completed.
  • After completing your task, note that the product may still require additional information, as indicated by its workflow.
  • These remaining steps are assigned to other team members. You can either complete these steps if capable or leave them for the responsible colleagues.
